Garden Fence Paint Sprayers
Discussion
I’ve got nearly 200 feet of wooden fencing to stain in the garden!
First time staining it since installation 4 years ago, and I don’t fancy brushing it on.
Any suggestions for decent paint sprayers - preferably electric with decent reservoirs.
Also, what are best stains / paints on the market these days? Usual suspects Ronseal etc.??
Finally, can these fence sprayers be hired? Probably get better device for less money than buying DIY item. Hopefully not have to do it again for ~5yrs.

I'm in the same position
4 x 20ltr tubs of Wickes fence preservative for 46 panels.
I purchase two angled fence brushes from screwfix plus I saw a cheap paint sprayer at Lidls a couple of weeks ago.
I'll try out the sprayer and if it doesn't work its back to the brushes which isnt too bad if you work out the logistics (clean builders bucket on a stool so you dont have to bend down).
The sprayer only has a 1 litre pot so that will slow me down.

I used to do a 5 year term contract for a housing association, which included fence panels. This cuprinol was on the spec, it's not cheap. After the 5 years they were still in good condition, so worth the money.

I also used a block brush to paint them, it would cover in 1 coat. Spraying needs 2 coats, as it needs to be thinned. The overspray is hard to avoid, as above^^

I have the Wagner one.

In the right weather (warm day / no breeze) I've sprayed 24 panels.
The Wagner one I have is easy to use but it would be nice to have a little more capacity in the tank, but then it would of course be heavier to lug around.
Need to leave the paint out in the sun for a while to make it flow better and find a wide nozzle funnel to reduce spillage on the transfer from the tub to the container.
Fast & simple though and makes it a day job instead of a couple of weekends with a brush.

I bought a Parkside cordless spray gun from Lidl for my 30ft x 6ft fence. The paint needed thinning a tad (<10%) and I fitted the larger nozzle in the kit.
It did the job fine (couple of stops for a refill, it's only a 1 litre pot), but as our fence borders a lane, I had to have Mrs Rooster peering over the fence to make sure I didn't barcode anyone walking past!

Cheers all.
I think the Wagner Paint Sprayer is best option - can buy on Amazon for £62 delivered.
Will get the Cuprinol sprayable one coat to go with it.
Just need to find a warmish / still day to attack it. I’ll pressure wash fence first to remove any dirt / greenery and leave to dry 24hrs before paint.
As I’ve got lots of trellis on top, spray will be easier than brush - although I’ll loose some paint through gaps. Fortunately got green space behind so no issue with overspray etc.
