shed window sill help

I'm going to install a shed window. I'm looking for a sill as installed in the shed in the picture.

Does anybody know what they are called where ti buy one please?

Googling shed window sill/cill etc doesn't seem to find anything similar.

The window in the picture doesn’t seem to have a cill as far as I can tell: what type of window are you fitting, timber or pvc?

I’d probably go with a glass window.

You can buy plastic angle from Wickes or various sources, inc ebay.
You can get various other sections, U- channels, F sections.
Sections can be glued together
You can buy upvc cill mouldings fairly cheaply.

I built a cheapo kit shed which came with a black plastic window cill, it was rubbish. I ended up making a wooden window frame with a bit of ali section as a drip rail.

On the sheds I have looked at it seems to be a purpose made item. The bottom of the glass or plastic sits in it . It sits slightly proud of the cladding and the water can drain off. Plastic means that that part won't rot.

As with a lot of requests on here knowing what the part is called is the main requirement for sourcing one!

It's not a standard angle moulding or a standard upvc cill.

doubt theres a shop selling ready made ones , all the ones i see are a scrap of wood cut to size , a decent wood merchant will cut you something if you measure it

If you’re not fitting a proper, separate window frame but just a piece of plastic or glass in an opening, then a length of Z trim might suffice. Various sizes available on eBay.

Have a look on Eurocells website, some of the cladding trims on there might be similar or adaptable to what you’re looking for.
