Finished using up my Lawn Weed Killer last week and so will need some more for next time.
The one I am using at the moment on the lawn is "Enforcer" but I have also used "Thrust" in the past.
What is the PH collective thoughts on what they have found to be their go to product?
Yes I know it depends on the type of weeds that that I get - chickweed, bittercress, clover - all the usual suspects unfortunately.

Is there a commercially available systemic weedkiller that actually works? I've been trying to get rid of these weeds that grow under from the neighbour's for several years.

Enforcer: https://www.agrigem.co.uk/product/enforcer-5l/
70g/L 2,4-D, 20g/L dicamba, 70g/L MCPA and 42g/L mecoprop-P
50-100ml per 10L of water

Thrust: https://www.agrigem.co.uk/product/thrust-5l/
344g/L 2,4-D + 120g/L dicamba
Knapsack Sprayer Rate 180ml to 10-20L of water covers 500m²

I'll let you find the efficacy per species and work out the g/m2 at recommended dose rate.

Note that they don't have watering can dilutions because they're professional products, so unless you're licensed companies shouldn't sell them to you. But we all do 33 in a 30 so I would resort to basics and choose the one with most active ingredients smile

Glyphosate. But that's a different thread because it's not selective.

Weedol works perfectly for me, kills everything it touches except grass.

But I assume you've tried that so does that mean it doesn't work for some people?

Yes tried Weedol, it has a go but within weeks the stuff has grown back. Sometimes it just scorches the leaves. I'm after total destruction of the flower/root/the whole shebang.

Thanks for the help chaps.

Note: There are several kinds of Weedol now that marketing people have got hold of it so be careful you get the right one.

The one I use is:

10.68 g/L fluroxypyr
5.34 g/L colopyralid
53.4 g/L MCPA

I've no idea which the active ingredient (growth hormone) is. For me it's magical stuff. Apply, go back in an hour and the weed is already noticeably twisting up. After that it's a goner.

I've been using it for years. It's so effective it almost feels unsporting.

It often leaves a mummified dead weed until you next mow it, so maybe people are mistaking a dead weed for a surviving weed.

Does this mix have a specific name?

How about the opposite - is there anything that will kill grass in borders but leave flowers and shrubs unharmed?

A quick Google suggests Weedol Lawn or Verdone Extra?

Thanks but I've tried all iterations of Weedol. Seems to struggle against the weeds I'm trying to eradicate. Never found anything to stop creeping buttercup..

You mix that at 5ml per litre water. The Weedol Lawn I'm describing you.mix at 15ml per litre in a sprayer or 15ml per 5 litre in a watering can.

It's still way more potent than the stuff I'm buying, obvs bit slightly closer than the numbers suggest.

....and as someone above guessed the stuff I buy is branded Weedol Lawn.

Not sure why I find this topic so fascinating.

Yes, and Dagenham's gone too. At this rate the UK will simply be one huge housing estate and anyone in work will be drop-shipping rubber dog turds from Hong Kong.

Think I'll have to go for the Weedol Lawn and trust it's a Weedol variant I haven't tried yet. It's also available a bit cheaper than the agrigem stuff.
