My trusty pop up marquee which I purchased from focus just before they shut down about 15 years ago has finally fallen apart and been taken to the tip today.

I’m looking for a replacement and hoping someone might be able to recommend one, needs to be a 3x3 come with a carry case and ideally have a couple of sides to it too.

Main usage is normally putting it up for the kids to have some shade in the garden, especially when we have the sand pit etc out for them.

I have one of these - https://www.colemanuk.co.uk/shelters-gazebos/event... It's lasted 4 years regular use. Would recommend - quite often on sale too.

Google event shelters or gazebos to see more options.

Don't know what your budget is but I bought one of these during covid. I've had it up for weeks at a time in all weathers over the years. The frame's very substantial as is the cover. I've just replaced the latter due to some fading. I'll get years out of it.

We have a 6m x 3m from here - https://rockawnings.co.uk/gazebos/explorer-series-... they do a range so you can go from cheap and cheerful to propper hard core.

We have a 3m x 3m gazebo from Gala Tent.

We went for the Pro 50 frame option as it's VERY robust, and being made of aluminium doesn't rust.
They are not cheap, but they last very well.

We bought ours in August 2021, so almost 4 years ago. It has been left up on the patio all year round since we got it, and has withstood everything the British weather can throw at it, including several 70mph storms. The only issue was the canopy finally gave in to constant wind and UV exposure last year, so we bought a replacement canopy, and it's back to looking like it's brand new again.

We use it for shelter from the rain in winter, and shade from the sun in the summer. I'd expect to have to replace the canopy every 2 to 3 years if leaving it up permanently, but the frame looks like it'll last another 20+ years easily.

Co-incidentally, a friend bought the same model, but in a 6m x 3m size a couple of years ago, and is equally happy with his.

Sounds like the Allseasons one I have. It can be a sun screen in summer and a waterproof cover all year round. I sometimes put it up in winter so we can sit near the chiminea at night no matter what the weather's doing.

Prices seem to vary wildly from £50 upwards. I’m going to set myself a budget of around £250-300 and hopefully can find something that will last.

Will take a look at all these suggestions, I’m not looking for something to have up permanently happy to take it down after it’s been used, even if it’s daily.

After a succession of gazebos that destroyed themselves at any hint of wind I went for one of these https://gorillagazebos.co.uk/ . The video with 5 people hanging off it sold it to me!

Had it since COVID and still impressed. Weighs a ton, but the bag has built in wheels for pulling it across the garden. Easy enough to put it up alone.
