Hi all, so after 2 and a half hours last night assembling a flat pack COD I put the drawers in to find that two of them are wonky when closed.

I've checked all the runners inside the chest part and they all look good.

When I insert the "good" drawer on any level it sits flush, leading me to think it's the drawers themselves that are the problem.

But again I can't see anything obviously wrong.

The picture above shows the good drawer next to the bad one, I did think the bad one, the runner looked like it wasn't quite up against the front of the drawer but I've since resolved that, and it's no better.

I've tried with a couple of positions on the right runner but it's never any better.

Any ideas or is it just a st piece of furniture?

Swap one 'good' runner with ine 'bad' one. In theory, the drawer should then fit on one side and not on the other.

It's got to be the length of the runners, or their position. The above will tell you which.

Unless its the way the photo has distorted the image, the one of the bad draw does not look as if it is sitting square to the side and looks to be sticking out a bit at the bottom edge compared to the good draw.

Thanks chaps, I've messed about with the runners a bit (swapping the runner over didn't seem to help), and tightened everything up as much as possible and it's now acceptable, not perfect but certainly nothing to stress over. It'll do, thanks again beer

Difficult, as they seem to be the ones that wrap around the bottom edge

Yeah it looks ok in person. I've faffed about to the point where I can't seem to get it *quite* perfect, but also it's close enough that I doubt anyone will notice, particularly when placed in the position it will end up in. So all good, probably what I get for agreeing to buy cheap furniture from Wayfair hehe
