Ground Mounted Solar - Planning Permission

I currently have a 7kw solar system and battery on my garage and generate a very healthy 7kwh of energy per year, which covers ~40% of our use.

We recently had 3 phase fitted as part of a extension to the house and i'm thinking about installing c.30kwh or 75 panels in one of our adjacent fields.
Having started looking at what planning permission we would need, I'm struggling to find any real guidance.

Has anyone looked at this for a system of this size?

The field is screened on 3 sides by my house and mature hedges, on the final side is a metal fence and footpath.

Worth checking with the DNO if they'll allow that much before you go down the planning route, a quick conversation/e-mail might save a lot of effort.

What's the export limit on your current system?

Check the tax stuation too. If it's treated as a commercial system you'll pay tax on the export income your receive.

I have a mate who didn't get planning for similar, due to objections.
Field in Devon, objections from as far away as Manchester.
Exporting 30kW can also be tricky.

Good point, currently have a 7kwh limit.
I’m assuming/hope I’d be able to get 10kwh across each phase. But I will check
