Hi any recommendations for bathroom extractor fans please? Ideally with a built in shutter to stop back draught. It's for new loft bathroom and inline fan is not an option. It's a small bathroom (1.6mx 2.5m) so I was thinking 4inch is ok rather than upgrading to 5 inch.

Thanks
J

Not a specific recommendation, but this is worth a watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WvSE9aAmeGk

FWIW I've fitted two of these in my airbnb cottage (kitchen and bathroom) for continuous running, but slightly different use case I guess: https://www.extractorfanworld.co.uk/monsoon-mon-dm...

I have fitted a couple of these recently and they have been very good. Very effective and very quiet:

Put a lid on the shower and you won't need a fan.

What is the extract situation (materials and route) ?

Axial fans are poor unless it's short and smooth

Airflow Icon, different sizes, different voltages, flexible switching options, excellent iris shutter.

I’ve had these too and always worked well.
