Looking at putting a split ac above the door. Can the pipes for a split go out the side. Exterior ac unit would be mounted to the right on the outside.

Thanks

Yes - we have a couple of units with the pipes exiting on the side.

We also have one which is upstairs and further away from the external condenser, where the pipes exit from the side, then go up into the loft, across the loft, then down and out to the condenser unit. This does require a small condensate pump in the loft though.

If just exiting from the side, then no additional pump should be required.

What’s the model & performance/size of this unit??
