Burning softwood cladding

Would anyone know if this sort of stuff is a no no for burning in a fire pit? I.e. will it have been treated over and above the 'kiln dried' it advertises?



We just moved house and the ignorant previous owner has left loads of it in one if the sheds and it can go in the skip if required but I'm conscious of space.

It'll burn fine but I'd pop it on marketplace and it'll get snapped up.

Agree. You’ll get money for it no trouble but it will also burn nicely.

As others have said, you should be able to find somebody to give you a few £ for it, though it may not be worth the hassle unless you have lots of it.

Yes it will burn, but at only 8mm thick, it will burn very quickly - perhaps best split as kindling?

Yeah that'd be the perfect kindling once chopped up.
Give it to a plumber, he'll have it in splinters in no time.

Thanks all for the input, didn't want to take any chances as I hadn't realised until googling how bad some treated wood could be and didn't know if this would be in that category.

As it happens, we've moved way out into the country with effectively no neighbour for most of the year so this will be our kindling.
