Im having to go with scaffold as i got killed off in the cherry picker thread and a towers not going to work.

Lowest quote with a biggish local firm for scaffold over my garage to one side and the full side of the other (goes to about 6.5m is £900 for a month.

Is this over/under what youve had before.

I had scaffolding at both gable ends to allow the soffits etc to be replaced, over a small extension at one end and a shed on the other gable.
£900 cash for the month, north West England

Scaffolders are a bit quiet at the moment so shop around, there can be huge variations in price

Yeh, one can't do until end of September.

I see enough of the buggers driving around here it's rediculous.

Proper ones aren’t. We’re currently putting up 60 houses. They’re a walk through, front and rear lifts £650 each. 6 week hire. 3 siders are £850. These are framework rates, so if you have been priced £900 for a proper scaffold, that’s pretty decent for domestic work.

I've found a quote for £700 both sides and can start end of next week.

One firm were £660 but they look like they used scaffold towers and not scaffold poles.

These were all on a service called Bark, the phone went mad when I used this, maybe checkatrades losing popularity or too expensive.

Neighbours are on holiday though at the moment so can't confirm till they are back... it's never easy.

Not in York where pretty much every job requires scaffolding so you have to wait weeks.

I'm in North Derbyshire and use scaffolders regularly. We pay £400-£450 for full width on one side of a house.
