Under floor heating
Discussion
You may have seen my build thread but we are going to be putting wet under floor heating in.
House is 150 years old solid stone.
We have had a UFH guy round who recommends putting a cement pad (will need to do this anyway). Then 50mm insulation board, lay the pipe work and then put 50mm screed over the top.
The other way we have looked at is to put a system like Wunda and use their insulated boards and put a 10mm screen on top.
Our UFH has said he can fit the Wunda system but he advises not to.
Either way we will be going for a stone tile floor.
Does anyone have any experience on which one may be best?
