Enjoyed a cheapo 1000 litre pool this summer. I'm weighing up the faff of cleaning, drying, storing it for next year vs being a lazy bd and just taking it down the the recycling center, and getting a new replacement for next summer. It's not helped by the current UK weather making potentially cleaning and drying it a right chore. At least the sodden ground will help with the reseeding the grass where the pool was!

Does anyone here do the lazy route? Clearly a bit un green

Get a new one next year. Mice might chew it during storage

If you are going to just buy new, then perhaps think about giving it away. Pop it on a seek and sell or similar.

We buy a new one from the grandkids each year . Last one was £10 in about December.
I have not successfully cleaned and stored one . However I am told bicarbonate of soda does it .
