Issue in selling property - estate management deed
Discussion
Hi all,
Currently in process of selling our house - new build, nearly 6 years old, we are the first owners.
Our solicitors when we bought the house (unfortunately a conveyer belt conveyancing company) should have registered the signed estate management deed with the land registry - they failed to do so. The buyer's solicitor picked it up and our current solicitor has been proactive in trying to fix it - I've found unsigned copies of the estate management deed in my email, but the land registry are insisting on the signed copies.
I am in contact with the original solicitors but they are dragging their heels in sending the document over - this is currently causing a delay in exchange.
Even if they send the document over soon, it is their cock up and need to face repercussions for it - what is the best way?
To be clear, I am not after financial compensation unless the transaction falls through and we suffer a financial loss, but it is something that should have been done properly, considering it was a straight forward transaction, but they failed to do so.
Welcome your ideas and opinions.

Best advice I can ever give anyone selling or buying is stay away from these firms. It causes countless issues in property chains and in many cases causes fall throughs. I never understood the need to try and go cheap on the most important part of the transaction.
I've no doubt someone will come along and say how amazing their experience was, but the amount of transactions I see, it's way more bad than good.
The SRA are who the sols have to register with, as to how much teeth they have remains to be seen.
