Had a Solidor front door put in around 2018/2019. Very solid timber internals with composite skins, different colour inside and out and nicely finished.
Solid, high quality fixtures and fittings and very secure. The installers said the police hate them as they take a serious effort to knock them in....(!) which was somewhat reassuring..
No complaints and would fit another for sure, like so many of these things the overall effect is often dictated by the quality and workmanship of the installation, all worked out well in my case.

As mentioned there isn't a great deal of difference between most of them. Solidoor and Rockdoor make their own from scratch I believe, in search of A +++ energy rating they experimented with various materials which resulted in some of them bowing, I think that is sorted now though. Most of the others use bought in panels which are cut to size and made into doorsets. I get mine from Hallmark, they are a decent door, like almost all of them they do fade though after 5-10 years. They all offer decent security even more so if cylinders and handles are upgraded, even the crappiest composite is better than a Upvc door, it’s why the police now carry Stihl saws.
We have two Endurance doors and feel they are much better quality than the Solidor we had at our last place.

Rockdoors here front and back. Would recommend. The front replaced another make of composite door which though the door itself was OK not happy with the frame, the connection between door frame and sidelight always seemed weak. The Rock door is a world of difference, both door frame and sidelight frame are steel reinforced, and bolted together by a steel connecting arrangement. Solid as a rock, two doors, right in your budget.
Another vote for Rock Door here. I own a property development business in the Isle of Man and lots of our builds are in an exposed location. We used to use Solidor and although they are OK I have had issues over the years including warpage and corrosion. The Rock door is a bit more expensive however we have used them for about the last 5 years and not one single problem so far. It’s a superior product in our location.
We have a solidor door , it was probably about 4 years old when it started to peel at the bottom ( water ingress) I mentioned it to the fitters who did it as they were fitting a window at the time.
I would have been happy for them to try and repair it but they sent the pictures off to solidor and they sent a new core out no questions.
Its west facing and does get battered when the rains driving hard. New one seems tobe fine.

We had a Spitfire door installed in 2019 and it s still like new, south facing so gets all the weather and not a mark.
It s an aluminium door and feels very weighty and secure.
Highly recommend

Edit: Scratch that, just seen you want back a back door too

We had 2 solidor doors installed in Devon. Both have had to be replaced (one twice) under warranty due to warping. One replaced due to delamination. Both have leaked.
We are replacing a back door at home and following the rubbish experience with Solidor are having a wooden one made.
Forgot to say. The Solidors were installed two years ago. So on average are lasting about 18 months. We are replacing a back door at home and following the rubbish experience with Solidor are having a wooden one made.

One of ours delaminated like that. I would have been happy for them to try and repair it but they sent the pictures off to solidor and they sent a new core out no questions.
