Laminate on top of vinyl click
Discussion
I know the general consensus is to rip out the existing vinyl click first which is easy enough to do, but the floor is already about 5-8mm lower then rest of the house.
Laying new flooring on top will bring it up to the same level so that’s one benefit.
The ‘old’ vinyl click is only 3 years old and perfectly flat. I will also fit underlay in between both layers.
Would it work?
