Can anyone recommend one who understands the tax pov regarding having and disposing of FHL from ltd cos? My usual chap admits to not having the experience here and I can see it potentially getting complicated and expensive or both! Thanks

You need an accountant not a solicitor IMO

I need, and have, both but it's complicated. It may include transfering ownership from one co to another and I'm looking for the most cost effective way all round.

I have to say that I would use the accountant for advice on the tax element and then speak to the solicitor to see if the recommended transfers can be accommodated. Maybe even a Teams meeting with both on the call.

In my experience you only get decent tax advice on real estate transactions from a high end solicitor that has a specific tax team. Angela Rayner is an example of what happens if you use a conveyancer for tax!
