I ordered 7 packs of Karndean Van Gogh glue-down flooring for the inner hallway and staircase. The builder is back on Monday to finish painting the stringers and a few other bits and bobs, and will be ready to start laying the flooring on Tuesday. New skirting going on after the hallway floor is laid.

I placed the order last weekend with an online supplier, but the flooring was shipped direct from Karndean. Arrived an hour ago.

I also ordered 5l of Karndean adhesive, apparently being shipped by the company that took my order. No sign of it arriving.

If the adhesive doesn't arrive on Monday, we'll need to source an alternative locally, which means Screwfix or Toolstation.

What's the best adhesive for the job that's sold by the above places?

Soudal are a really good brand (as I understand it) and they do LVT adhesive from Screwfix.

Wouldn’t get lvt adhesive from Screwfix, find your nearest flooring distributor and ask for pressure sensitive glue. If there’s windows where sun is beating down on it get high temp.

The basic stuff from screwfix will shrink over time.

Inner hallway, so no windows.

Tried the two local companies, both open this morning. Neither of them actually carry the Karndean adhesive in stock. 3 to 5 days.
Amazon, earliest delivery Thursday.

Google search suggests that Karndean used to recommend F Ball F44, until they brought out their own brand adhesive.
Unfortunately nowhere local stocks that either.

I ended up ordering the proper Karndean adhesive from Amazon, arrived in 2 days.

I phoned the original supplier last Friday, as the adhesive that I paid for still hadn't arrived. Apparently it had been "damaged by the courier" and was being returned. Nobody thought to let me know, or to send another one. My phone call prompted them to check, and ship again.

I'm still waiting for it. Shocking service.

Despite Karndean saying that 5 litres will do 20sq mt, it actually only covers half that amount on self-levelling screed, so another tub is needed for the stairs

Still waiting for the adhesive, 5 weeks since paying for it.

Supplier doesn't answer the phone, and their online chat is only for pre-sales.

I've now raised a dispute with PayPal and my card issuer.

If you want customer service, avoid using Flooring Supplies. Worst company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with.
