I don't remember this before.
Just cut the grass again albeit on a tall cut .
I did it just two weeks ago .
Has been dry in SE for 10 days or so and decent sun , but cold .
I picked up a lot today.
Anyone else ?

We’ve got a pretty verdant rear lawn up in Derbyshire but I’m not sure the clay soil is dry enough to risk a cut.

Too wet and the ground too soft to cut in N Norfolk, but it sure needs a cut!

STILL have a few roses in flower as well.....

Had to cut my grass twice in December, but it helped to collect the last of the oak leaves to stop. Last cut was around the 20th, been getting later every year. Surrey.

Havent even cut the grass since October.
North facing lawn.
If we get a dry spell over the christmas break I might give it a trim.
If not it will survive until Febuary or March with no cutting.

Just finished doing mine. I don’t remember ever doing it this late in the year before. Last cut is usually November time. I’ve certainly never cut it when it was white over with frost before spin. The John Deere tractor coped OK, couple of wet grass blockages in the collector and a few wheel spin marks but all good. Should be OK through to early March now. Bloody hope so I need to give the tractor a full service during the downtime.

It was so dry in Summer, the grass still has energy to grow.

Usually it's lack of light and then heat which stops grass growing, Some Football Clubs have large array of lamps travelling up and down the pitch trying to fool nature, you don't see the old muddy mess in the goalmouth these days.
