Last year my kids bought me a stove top waffle iron, I didn't know waffles (with bacon and honey) would become such a big part of my morning breakfast. At the moment I make enough mixture for about 4 waffles but I can only make 1 at a time on the stove, having to flip regularly, so this year I'd like to upgrade to an electric that does a couple both sides. I think I'd lean towards being able to set temperature to get them just so. Anybody have a recommendation?

After my Cusinart caught fire a couple of years ago, I ended up with one of these. Not cheap, but it's very good

My Misses makes 40+ waffles at a time (4 hungry boys in our house) so we have a fresh batch and then a batch to reheat in the toaster the next day.

The first waffle Maker was a 2 waffle Breville job and it melted in places after the second use. So we got a Lakeland 4 waffle maker at Christmas and it does a much better job and makes each waffle much quicker as well.

I'm told the "no mess" sides are a big benefit also and not just the gimmick I thought they were. Plus it comes with a 3 year warranty.

That looks ideal apart from the waffle size is a bit small (compared to my current iron) and two would be more than I'm currently having in a morning, otherwise looks idea especially the no mess feature.

FWIW I freeze excess waffles, and pop them in the toaster when I want one, if anything they come out better then fresh, crispy but fluffy. I slightly undercook so that they toast perfectly.

That looks great, and the waffles are a good size, but £180 might be a stretch. I'll put a watch on eBay and see if one comes up for a bit less. Thanks!
