Announced that all properties will have to meet an EPC C by October 2030.

Maximum to be spent by Landlords now £10k per property instead of £15k.

Requirement for new Tenancies to meet the standard from 2028 now scrapped.

I wouldn't be surprised if it all changes again before the end of this Parliament.

Well, that's the headline, and clearly what people are intended to fixate on...

...but if you read the underlying document you'll see that changes are planned to EPC. What classes as a "C" isn't necessarily going to be the same in 2030 as it is today. Plenty of scope for them to fudge things. Which, given the target still isn't clear, they're almost certainly going to need to do.
