Cold/Damp Corner

I have a corner of the house that is away from heat sources and north facing.
This time of year despite attempts to manage overall house humidity it gets a little musty.
Currently the wall is lined with standard lining paper and painted with emulsion.
I`ll need to redecorate soon, are there some alternative materials I could be using to reduce moisture accumulation in this area?

Dehumidifier?

Watching with interest.
I am in exactly the same situation. Small toilet room, cold lower corner and not damp coming in.
No room for a dehumidifier.

Unbound 360 moisture remover from Screwfix. Will absorb a litre of water every 2 weeks if you have no room for an electric dehumidifier.

You can buy thermal paint, has microscopic glass beads in it to create a thermal barrier.

No idea if it works but was considering it so would love to know

Strip it and paint, wash it down from time to time and touch up when necessary and don't put anything against the wall if possible. We have a little projecting part of our hall, probably designed for a buggy or similar that gets mouldy and won't support paper.

We use granular crystal bag things in cupboards etc on north facing walls....work quite well.

I’d experiment with a fan to see whether air flow could help redistribute the bit of excess moisture this time of year.
