I have fitted a replacement water heater (in place of a failed similar unit) using the original pipes and socket.

It lights up, water flows but the water is not heated at all. There seems to be users who rate them good but many who seem to suffer the same problem of the water remaining cold.

The original unit worked ok previously but only by heavily restricting the water flow. I have tried turning down the feed on the new one but no joy.

Any advice or thoughts to get it working.

Pictures and model number would help, otherwise its a myriad of potential issues.

I guess you’ve checked the thermostat settings?

Did it ever work, or duff out of the box?

My friend bought it. Plain box .... limited instructions....not even the same type as in the box. No model number.

Probably a generic item similar to this

I appreciate she has probably bought a piece of junk but I'd like to help as she needs it for business.
