I bought these a while ago probably 6 years ago. The handles are made by Dale architecture( purchased from Toolstation),which I believe are decent quality. The only gripe I have is that the handles are held on by the tiniest screws know to man so within time they work loose and the handle becomes loose but you can't retighten them as the holes are now large. You can't put larger screws in as the plate won't go over the top. I'm a bit disappointed with them to be honest. Any tips please or has anyone had similar types. Thanks.

You might find something like this with suitably sized heads and put a bit of thread lock on them as you tighten.

You need to not use those small wood screws and get the type of fixing linked above - it goes in that remaining hole in the handle, and attaches the two hand plates together. We had this problem in our old flat. The wood screws holding the handle to the door are always a worse solution than the type of fixing that goes straight through, as that's metal-on-metal and doesn't seem to work loose.

If it's like my recent experience the important part would be grub screws holding handle to shaft. I had some handle that were coming loose and was cursing the screws, turned out the grub screws were missing and once installed the others were fine as they weren't having to do much at all.

So have a look in the bottom of the handles as Im sure I can see threaded holes there.

That's exactly what I'm looking for. If it grabs it from both sides then that will sort it.

If they're missing the grub screws you can just buy one of the multi packs from Amazon. That's what I had to do.

Bolt throughs will do the job, just make sure they are not overtightened, they can take the spring out of the handle.
