Today I’ve found a new annoyance with air fresheners hanging from the internal mirror - Mrs Gruber had a liquid based one which has leaked onto her brand new Renault 5, and it’s “bubbled” the high gloss plastic around the air vent.

Any suggestions or recommendations how to fix this?

Air freshener has various caveats about not being liable for spillages and I guess the car is too new to find a replacement in a breaker’s yard. To replace the part is £360 so hoping there is a kit out there to repair this?

Thanks in advance…

If you can get the part off cleanly you could rub it down smooth and get it wrapped or hydro dipped

Bread and butter for these guys. You'll probably be able to find one locally.
