Good pressure sprayer

Hello All!

Having had a sucession of the pump action 5l sprayers that block up, have nasty pastic tubing and rarely last a season I'm looking for recommendations please?

It would be for spraying weedkiller, wet 'n forget' etc

I have a couple of the essential ones from screwfix and they have lasted well to be fair.

Maybe overkill for domestic use but I bought on of these for work, mainly for spraying BAC 50, which is what Wet n Forget is behind all the marketing wk. Goes up to 6 bar and you can hook it up to a compressor to charge it if needed, massive range of nozzles and lances as well. I think mine has Viton seals. Mesto inox sprayer.

Just looked and I paid £155.00 for the 10l in 2019!

Thanks - thats the real deal isn't it! 225 smokers is quite an outlay though....Might settle for this one tbh

I have a Spear & Jackson '5LPAPS' 5lt sprayer for similar use.
Purchased in 2020 and still going strong, currently £13.69 on Amazon.

I second this, currently have one and used it for about 4 years, belonged to my mother prior to that and still going strong.

I only use it for Patio Magic/Doff algea cleaner etc a couple of times per year and I tend to leave it half full over the winter and its absolutely fine.

I dare say if I used something harsher like weed killer or bleach that it may not have lasted so well.

Go hozelock, best of the plastic ones. If it's a particularly harsh chemical, get there Viton seal version which I think is now branded pulsar.

Me too, use mine for spraying spirit based wood preserver on shed and fence, wash it out thoroughly after use, first one lasted three years.

Thank you all for the input - seems like many get decent results form the cheaper ones - sadly thats never been the case here...

Ive oredered the one I linked from a few posts above in the hope it will last a good few years
