I should add that I did mine at the time I was active on that thread. I went old-skool and did a wet mix of mortar. Took me two full afternoons to do our 22 sq metre patio and afterwards I felt like I'd been hit by a truck with all the manual work involved.

These brush-in materials often get slated for not lasting as long as mortar, but they are very popular because of their ease of application. I think I'd rather re-do it once every five years with that, than subject myself to mortaring again!

Hhhmmm, yes I've done both in the past
The Weatherpoint can get blown out with a fairly gentle power washer, 1:3 mortar holds better but can still come out and is more difficult to get into the slabs without staining. One of my locations is Indian stone paving the other concrete.
