I know I need to install a 13amp fuse before the first spur before I can add another spur from it but does installing this negate the separate fuse or is this not allowed? Many thanks.

If you want to run multiple sockets on a spur you need the cable appropriately protected as you’re effectively branching a radial off a ring.

What you’ve pictured is intended to protect the devices plugged into it, not the infrastructure itself. FCU would be the normal solution.

You add a fused spur first and then additional sockets after that, If your existing socket circuit is already Rcd protected you wont need one of those.
I cant answer how many sockets are allowed after the spur but I don`t think there is a limit as they can only pull 13 amps in theory.
