CCTV or Smart Door Bell without wifi

I am presently refurbishing a rental property void of occupants, and due to the odd building materials going missing, and occasional rubbish being dumped in the garden. I am seeking some form of CCTV camera, and/or smart door bell, either without requiring wifi, or with a non contract monthly wifi/internet account, any recommendations please.

Do you need monitoring from your phone? If not then there are loads of CCTV systems which are hardwired to a video recorder and you can simply watch it later if needed.

IOT SIM cards with 20GB+ are under £5/month, if you are losing valuable materials, perhaps that's worth it to get wifi and masses of bandwidth, to allow you to put in simple wifi camera devices?
