I've just had 150 tiles (25sqm) on a pallet delivered with "Report breakages within 24hours"....are they having a laugh???

So, what are the chances of tile breakages? Am I wise to unbox them all or take a punt as they work out about 20 quid a box!

You don't say how many boxes there are, but is it impossible to open them all in 24 hours?

I doubt it will be that many tbh - sounds like 300x600mm ish (or similar area) so I'm guessing 15 boxes

Top/bottom tiles may be broken but chipped edges/corners might be more of an issue

I'd be unpacking them with a camera on hand myself

We had our bathroom tiles from them, had a box or so broken that I didn’t tell them about till 2-3 weeks after delivery. They sent more out free of charge, they were pretty good!

They mean major visible damages as the delivery company won’t allow claims after this.

Take photos and do your best, it’s normally not an issue

Thanks, there are about 25 boxes of the bloody things.

I have done some random checks and they have been pretty good with packaging tbf.

I will wait until i get cracking on the walls, still need the floor tiles to arrive first!

Lift and turn over each box, if there are any broken ones you will hear them. A bit like rolling a carton of pringles.
