Who s poo is this?

Hi. Found this skat in my garden. I’ve never seen anything like it. 5-7mm wide, almost continuous, held its form when picked up on trowel.
Thoughts?

Funnily enough, snake did cross my mind. But I checked the turd ID charts on the web and nope.
Could a cat produce that? Maybe, but never seen anything like it.

I've got a 14kg half bengal dhead and he's never done a st half that size in one go, I'd be scared of a cat that did that.

Based on experience it looks like a ferret or polecat poo to me, one that has had a large meal at that!

Nailed it.

I kept ferrets for years as a child and that is a ferret turd.

Likely a recently escaped pet as whatever layed that swirl has been enjoying a diet of kibble. If it had been eating in the wild the poo would be a lot darker in colour and drier in texture.
