Jetwash extn for cleaning sofits
Discussion
Our sofits are going a bit green and i would like to give them a bit of a clean up. I've seen these long extensions you can get for your jetwash but have also heard that the power means that it is hard to jetwash at height. Has anyone here tried one of those. Failing that its £300 for our window cleaning company to do them!
Ladder, soft broom, mild detergent of some sort. Pump up garden sprayer for rinsing water.
A car washing brush and a windsurfer mast work well.
A pressure washer will probably damage stuff and soak your loft, plus the force of the water will be unmanageable with the leverage of an extension.
A length of small irrigation tube and a spray nozzle can be handy, you don't want the weight of a big hose full of water on the end of a long pole.
Top tip, clean the gutters first.

I used to do an external term painting contract for a large housing association. Including it that was washing down facias and gutters. If there was any moss on them, we would first use a bit of bleach in water and scrub with a paintbrush. Then we would use wash&wax car shampoo on them. They came up like new and lasted.
