These screws were supplied with a door handle and are designed to pass through the door and in effect clamp the two halves of the circular handle pivot together around the latch mechanism.
I've tried a Google search but it only comes up with a generic "it's a screw thread" answer.
They work really well especially as the wood around the latch is often thin and already full of previous attempts to repair the handle.
Anyone know if they are available separately?
I've no idea what they are called confused
TIA
FF

Sex bolts or interscrews.
Screwfix sell them under 'interscrews'

If you just need the female part they are on ebay as 'sleeve nut'.
