Roborock App not available

Had anyone else experienced this?
I'm still looking to buy a robot hoover and I liked the look of Roborock. When I try to download the app from Google play store it says it not available for my device.
Android is v14 which is old but exceed the apps requirements of v7.
I know I can install it from an apk but that is a bit poor.
Does anyone know the background to this?
