We've moved into a new house and the previous owners have built a small wooden outbuilding that they used as a little studio, we'd like to use it as a small gym and want to put some flooring down over the current varnished wood.
I'm a bit bamboozled by all the choice and wildly varying prices, I've decided I want the tiles that interlock together so I don't have to stick anything down onto the wood.

I'm no weightlifter slamming 150kg down after a deadlift but there would be a weights bench, dip bars and hopefully a freestanding ballet barre in there so it can't be too thin/soft. Area is approx 3.5 x 3.9m.

Does anyone have any suggestions of where to get some flooring from and what kind of thickness I need to be looking at?

I was looking at this
https://gymflooringuk.uk/collections/mats-and-rubb...
But it specifically says don't put benches on anything that thin, the next level up is £40 for a 1m2 tile.

Thanks.

I bought these from Amazon which appear the same, albeit I think mine are a bit thinner.

Absolutely fine for an entire squat rack and bench, with weights. But when I move house I’ll do the flooring properly, but in the meantime these foam tiles are fine for the price.

I too will be using similar, they are made from rubber that comes from recycling tyre rubber reconstituted into mats.
