Garden hose repair section?

Yo people is there a repair section or hose joiner that I can use to cut out collapsed pieces otherwise good hose? Has a couple of sections that need cutting out, that are permanently knackered

That'll do the job but if you've got a couple of damaged sections you'd be better off replacing it anyway as the joiners will fail eventually.

Copper pipe and jubilee clips, if the clips are still small enough it will roll up neatly still.

Why not just untwist it and the pressure of water will keep it open?? Hose pipes always twist like this never had an issue with them once untwisted.

Copper pipe and lock wire, with an optional wrap of self-amalgamating tape to cover the ends of the wire.

Not sure thats an alternative unless the op only needs a 5m hose which is pretty short as hoses go. My hose is 50m and often i think I need another 10m even if I move it between taps

I've got this coming today, can't say anything about quality yet, but if it can save pulling long lengths of hose all round the garden, I can leave some in place during summer and build sections up as needed

That looks like the cheap Hoselock hose I bought many years ago... if so, it was a horrible hose, this might be a good chance to upgrade? Either hoselock's better models or FITT or plenty of others.

Yeah it’s parents; not really use that much so doesn’t warrant replacing. I have some copper pipe so may try that idea cheers.

I don’t like throwing stuff out unnecessarily but that looks done.

Get a new FITT branded one from screwfix, it will last you years.

If it’s just flat/kinked, pressurise it then work on those areas with a hairdryer to reshape.
