Plaster work sense check please
Discussion
Hi,
I hate second guessing trades people, but does the below look correct to anyone in the know..
To me, bare metal can rust and doesn’t paint easily, but not sure if this is the done thing. Walls will be painted, no wallpaper.
Happy with the actual plaster work on the walls and ceilings, just these outside edges look off to me.
I haven’t paid for anything yet.

They look like thin coat angle beads, so it’s a reskim or dry lined? If they are thin coat they’ll be galvanised, not available in s/s as far as I know. They CAN rust if constantly exposed to moisture but yours are fine, in the second pic the plasters not fully dry yet by the looks of it.
The plaster does look a little proud of the bead in the second pic, not ideal but should scrape down. Wait for it to fully dry and get decorating; we await your ‘Should I use a mist coat’ post
