One-Piece Curtain Poles

I'm looking for a curtain pole of at least 2.2m, up to 2.4m.
Ideally wooden, but a metal one may be OK if it suits the other decoration.
Most of the ones I like the look of turn out to be two separate pieces with an ugly joint in the middle.

Where should I be looking to fnd one?

You often have a bracket in the middle which hides the join.
Otherwise, you need a pretty stiff pole to avoid it bending with heavy curtains.

You can buy 2.4m lengths of dowel or other mouldings at sheds like Wickes, BeanCue etc.
