Out of the blue last week end the tap started shorting the rcb on consumer unit. Had to completely unplug under sink

Been installed for about 3 and a half years and no problem

No warranty

Anyone had similar?

Contact appliance engineers locally best bet?

RCD or MCB? Assuming it's RCD, assume therefore there's an earth fault and it's probably the heating element. Appliance engineer.
