Trust Pilot reviews are "interesting" seems a even split between "brilliant product" and "utter rubbish" with a light smattering of reviews in between!!!

Because they'll end up leaking in a really inaccessible location and you'll have to cobble together a bodge to get the water back on from whatever fittings you can find in the garage on a Friday evening. While swearing profusely.

Clever idea spoiled by the implementation.

It hasn't failed and half flooded the kitchen for the 'brilliant' ones. Yet.

I have one of these… should I be concerned then? What’s the failure mode?

It started leaking inside the plastic casing. Seems fairly common from what I can gather.

The idea isn't too bad, it's a common enough idea on lots of machines as Aquastop or whatever.

Problem is their implentation is cheap crap. A good solenoid valve should never leak, though I have had one burst.

But even the 'good' ones tend to fail, often by getting stuck.
