Do sonic animal deterrents work on Badgers?

[Nic-nfr74]

As much as I really love seeing them, they have this year started digging and digging on my lawn

For a few years they have generally passed through and ended up digging in others lawns - but this year digging, even now digging a hole a filling it with poo!! then doing the same the next night

So wondering how to nicely deter them - do this sonic things actually work? or other suggestions.
