Wanting to sort out some door handle levers that have become worn, saggy, and flappy.
Cant get the handles off the first set. No set screws on the handles and no obvious detents to release them.

The other set does not seem to have any springs or circlips.

Any help?

The first set, I think, the aluminium face is a friction fit loose cover, should pry off with a screwdriver, very 1980s bed sit chic!

ETA

If you can’t see a spring on the second set, it may not have one and should be used in conjunction with a more powerful double sprung latch.

Does the black plastic top and bottom cover come off? I seem to remember taking some off once upon a time and taking those off.
