While investigating some sticking buttons on a Mira shower (looks like it was installed too tight on a fractionally uneven surface causing it to warp)
I've found this less than ideal gap around the pipework that looks like a future issue, given I don't want to over tighten it again and trust the existing gasket I'd love some advice on the best course of action please

- Simply put some sealant on the back of the shower plate?
- Make a template to fill the gap and seal it in?
- Some sort of waterproof collar over the hole?
