What does the PH collective think this vent pipe is for? On a new extension built on what was the driveway of a dormer bungalow.

Looking at the planning permission, the kitchen is behind this wall, so I m not sure why such a a big hole is coming through the wall - tumble drier vent?

A high loop or island vent? For when a sink doesn't have access to a soil stack, is there a kitchen sink with weird undersink plumbing nearby? (from Googling).

The black pipe is the one I'm more interested in.

Good call on the pipe through the wall! I reckon the hole in the wall aligns pretty much with a run from where the cooker is located. Neat idea.

Bearing in mind it's adjacent to the sink, it could be a head-of-line vent?

Or, maybe it's a temporary thing and it's going to have a gulley fitted when the ground is tidied up?

My guess is the latter is most likely.

It does seem a bit improvised.
