Hilook or Hikvision?

Time has come to definitively upgrade a CCTV system that’s 20 years old. It’s a 4-way AHD system but luckily whoever installed it was forward thinking enough to use Ethernet cable with adapters at either end rather than shotgun cable. So, I think I can upgrade it to an IP based system.
Looks like Hilook are based at consumers and the Hikvision stuff for trade, although it’s possible to buy Hikvision.
But there’s so many models! Can anyone recommend a camera model that’s got really good night quality? Don’t need PTZ. Currently got dome cameras, any advantage in going for bullet?
