Skirting board heating - anyone got it?
Discussion
I'm thinking of putting this in my new house but am a bit skeptical of the amount of heat it can put out.

My parents living room had this installed when they bought their house. It's a bit bulkier than the system on the website but still less noticable than a normal radiator and provides pleanty of heat. The radiator only goes along the back wall and one side wall and this does a large room without any problems.

IF you still need at least one radiator, why bother with it?

I have skirting heating in a couple of investment apartments I own. No problems from a maintenance point of view, and having only popped in and out to see the tenants I can't say what it's like to live with.
If it's a small flat, it's probably fine, but for a house, you should probably be looking at proper hot water underfloor or good old fashioned radiators.

I have a skirting radiator system in my sitting room, dining room and libary. It is extremely efficient and pumps out lots of heat very quickly - however it is not the same system as the one you linked to. The system in my house is probably over 30yrs old, so the idea is not new.http://www.thermaskirt.com/default.aspx?L=&A=
