I want to install two pairs of gates. Wrought iron preferably.

My biggest issue is finding a company who can make the automation.

One pair of gates is to open with both gates hinged on the outside and opening conventionally.

The other is to open on one side only, with the second leaf hinged on the first so that when open it doesnt impede the exit route.

I'd also like the standard in car automatic openers, keypad, camera and buzzer with a couple of in house activation buttons.

I am guilty of being a gate installer. I am based in Watford and could certainly sort what you want.

Are you anywhere near me? If not i could ask around and get some names of other installers who are closer

Could certainly do the install for you but would be worried about the response time for you if you have a fault a few years down the line. email me you number and I will call you tomorrow for a chat and maybe give you some idea of cost etc that you should expect.

Cheers Chris tongue out

I've had enough of drivers not letting me out, so going for a in and out drive. Will also mean that i can keep more cars on the drive without moving them around.

Oh bum, late again lol.

If gonte can't help you, a guy who subbies for us should be able to sort you out. His work is spot on and only uses decent equipment.

Would need to know the place though so can ask him if it's in his area. He is based in Kent.

So a few months, lots of emails, a few visits and a few quid later, we have gates.

Thanks to Steve (Gonte) - he's done a great job, reacted brilliantly when we had a couple of small teething problems.

They look great and are bigger than the house.

Cheers Steve!
