We're removing a patio from the bottom of the garden to create a veg patch and will have quite a few concrete paving flags to get rid of.

Are the flags worth anything? One mans junk and all that...?

I had 12 old paving slabs lying around which I was going to chuck away or smash up for hardcore. I put an ad on Freecycle on a Wednesday afternoon (just in case) and within an hour had 17 emails wanting the slabs and in the end a guy came round at half five and took the lot.

In the end I had over 30 emails about the slabs!

Did you sell them or give them away?
