Sink is blocked.
Cleaned out U bend etc but the blockage is further down. Drain pipe is behind built in cupboard and inaccessible.
Tried sink unblocker powder, (caustic soda from the smell),and boiling water to no avail.
Any good ideas?

Fill sink with water and use plunger thingy? I've got one that's like a giant syringe - you fill it with water then blast it down the tubes.

Used a plunger, no joy. Looks like its properly blocked.
Just can't access the damn pipe.

I used one of these when I had a blockage of washing powder in the pipe from the washing machine.

You can get them from Wickes as well, in the plumbing section.

Plunger as others have suggested. Temp block up overflow with a wet cloth helps.

If you've put caustic soda in the sink already be very careful when you plung it - you don't want to get an faceful of that stuff!!

i would find where the waste pipe travels down the side of your house attach a hosepipe to the end (wrap duck tape or similar around nozzle to ensure a snug fit)then turn on the hose and blast water up the pipe. make sure someone is on guard by the blocked sink to make sure it doesn't overflow. repeat this a few times and you will remove the blockage.
