I have a 5 liter bottle/canister that once contained helium. It's the ones that you can buy to fill about 50 balloons for a party.
Does anyone know how i can dispose of this?

If it's empty, unpressurised and made of metal I suppose it's just 'scrap metal'.

Take it to your local council tip and put it with the other gas canisters. They usually have a seperate area for that sort of thing.

My local BOC depot takes in for free the canisters of helium that you can buy in party shops/supermarkets.

Of course!!!
I think all of 15 balloons were actually used.
The rest went on inhaling and giggling like little girls.

I will contact the local tip. Thanks for the advise smile

Joe Pascquale gets through a lot of helium - his voice can't really sound like that - he may want it?
