To bee, or not to bee?

Slightly unusual bee 'issue' I've discovered today...

I have apparently got a bee nest in my garage, somewhere in/behind/above the fascia board and below the roof.
It doesn't particularly bother me (it's not wasps) and I have, after all, planted much of my garden to be attractive to bees and butterflies.

But.. will it cause any further damage to the garage? and will they come back every year to the same place?

Despite liking bees, I seem to be a bee NIMBY and would like to get them away from the property, but would not want to hurt them at all.

any suggestions?
